- 140 g. ground pork
- 1 (300g.) apple
- 1 TBS lemon juice
- 60 g. green onion
- 4 (60g.) Shiitake mushrooms
- 50 g. cucumber
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- Seasonings
- ☆2 TBS soy sauce
- ☆2 tsp sugar
- ☆1 TBS Tianmian sauce (sweetened soybean paste)
- ☆1 tsp Doubanjian sauce (broad bean paste)
- ☆80 ml water
- 2 tsp sesame seed oil
- A mixture of 4 tsp starch and 4 TBS water
- 4 tsp sesame seed oil for noodles
Cooking Directions
Chop green onion and shiitake mushrooms finely. Cut the cucumber into thin strips. Cut out 4 apple peels with a cookie cutter of your choice, and soak in salted water.
Heat sesame oil and ginger in pan over medium heat. Bring to a fragrant heat and stir in green onion, then ground pork.
When the meat is thoroughly cooked, add shiitake and minced apple. Stir and cook well. (Boil with meat and apple juices. Simmer.)
Tips
- Grating the apple skin enables smooth texture to get a mild finish.
- Both meat and apple juices should be boiled down to receive the good flavor.
- The left-over meat sauce could be used as a topping for a slice of white bread, preferably served with mayonnaise. It is delicious!
