Homemade Apple Vinegar

Apple JaJan Lo Mein

It only calls for a simple procedure of pickling apples. There are various uses for this vinegar.

Ingredients

  • 2 Apples (about 500 g)
  • 400 g Granulated Sugar
  • 500 ml Grain Vinegar

Cooking Directions

Sterilize a glass jar by boiling.

Wash apples and core. Do not peel apples. Cut them into quarter slices.

5. 5. Discard apples and conserve apple vinegar in a bottle for convenience.  Dilute with water or soda to 5 or 6 times to make a delicious apple vinegar drink.

Tips

Even stale apples work well.
Leftover apples are welcomed to use up for zero-waste.
